Yogaguy74 is in TN, but I don't know where exactly.  You can PM him to find out where.  Once we go public, there should be more BFRs joining the Tennessee Chapter.

Hey There Nature!  I've never made it to Bristol-  haven't been fortunate enough to get those elusive tickets to the Bristol race.

Well, save your money and don't buy a ticket. I went every year until they re-surfaced the track. When they put on the progressive banking, the excitement at Bristol is gone Sad I really hate that they ruined Bristol Motor Speedway. It's pretty much a snoozer, with hardly any cautions, This spring was 1st race not sold out in 53 yrs, and it wasn't an economy issue, polls suggest it's because of the boring race

My hubby and I used to watch NASCAR all the time.  24 is my guy!  Bristol is my favorite NASCAR race of the season.  A very tight, dirty track.  There was always lots of accidents.  That's too bad they changed the track.  Hate to say it, but that's what all the excitement WAS about.  Rubbin's racin'!

I agree the excitement was the accidents, or accidentally on purpose  lol. I am a fan of Gordon's team mate Dale Earnhardt Jr. I was really just a Dale Sr fan, but had to pul for his boy when he got killed. I was a Dale Sr fan since dad took me to my first race when I was 8 yrs old. I really hate that they screwed up Bristol and made it from a one groove to a 2 grove race track!

Jimmy is my second favorite driver.  He comes from a town I grew up in, El Cajon, California.  That's L-kahone for the non-natives.
