Pete gave me your email so I could send you a link to this race: http://www.freedomsrun.org/Default.aspxWe're hoping to run the 1/2 marathon. It would be nice to have some barefoot company. Toward that end, would you be kind enough to post and share the link with your extensive network of barefoot runners. I and the race director, whom I have met and who is a barefoot-friendly Newton-wearer, would greatly appreciate it.

THis does look like a great run knowing the area. I am not quite sure why they start in Harpers Ferry and run uphill for 15 miles to Shepardstown but what they hey! It is a beautiful run and stunning colors that time of the year. Beats fighting the crowds at Army 10 Miler
Ooch! That is a week after the Ragnar. Same trails and route I believe on running the other way
