Anyone running the Asheville Citizen Times 1/2 Marathon, 5K, or Marathon on 9/17/11?
I'll be way in the back of the 1/2 Marathon. I ran the 5K last year and it was a very fun race.

12 Years and Starting Over-Take the Adventure With Me!
Hello all. New to the site and what a perfect time.
A little background then I'll explain my plan.
I've been in the Army for 12 years and have been running for about 20. I've always been plagued with shin splints and achy knees. At one point about 8 years ago I was diagnosed with a multitude of microfractures on my tibia which had calcified. This signified that I had been doing extreme damage to my body that had since healed. The shin splints got so bad at times I would literally be unable to walk.
Moving to Raleigh/Fort Bragg
I'm moving to the Holly Springs area in June/July, from which I will be commuting to Fort Bragg to work daily. Any BFRers around either place who would like some occasional company on their runs?

The University of Delaware Running Laboratory would like to invite you to take part in a web based running survey in order to better understand the habits of the barefoot runner. Your participation will involve 15 minutes of your time each month to fill out an online survey.
