I just became Chapter president (Aug 2011), and will hopefully find enough time to organize the group with activities and events on a regular basis.

Suggestion for events in 2012
2012 has arrived, and it's time to plan out the year. In May, there will be a Barefoot Runners Day, but on the other months, nothing is scheduled. It's been a while since the San Diego barefoot runners have met, and I haven't really run into any other barefooters on my weekend runs.
2012 Half Marathon Course Fun Runs
Carlsbad was my first Half Marathon race barefoot this year, and I'm signed up for the Half next year as well. Not the most barefoot friendly course, but very scenic. Let's hope it doesn't rain on race day. I wanted to spend some more feel time on the course, so I will be spending a few Sunday mornings up in Carlsbad over the next few months. Let me know if you are interested in joining me.
