Maryland Chapter
The Maryland Chapter
of
The Barefoot Runners Society!
Group Admin, you may customize your chapter introduction page any way you would like. We will post a help video soon describing how to edit, post, and manage your chapter. Until then, experiment and explore.
Your chapter is a "Charter Chapter," which will be one of several serving as a test to help determine the best structures and paths for future growth. Your successes will be used to guide the formation of future chapters. Your chapter will receive support from the parent organization and its many resources. However, as an organizer of a Charter Chapter, you will have significant liberty to organize your chapter however you wish. We will encourage you to periodically arrange barefoot runner meetups/group runs at events and races in your state and encourage Barefoot Runner Divisions within those races, hold club meetings, parties, etc., but we are especially interested to see what you come up with that we haven't even thought of yet. Your creativity and energy will be literally writing the manual for the implementation of subsequent chapters across the country and internationally.
